Me,as a Leader...

   

What is a leader? How to become a good leader? Am i qualified to become one? Am i effective leader for the group?

   Those questions will always be in my mind when we are to choose are leaders in school. I have the feeling of fear most of the times because I'm afraid to fail the expectations of being a leader. I tried many times to be a good one and I was elected oftentimes but the fear still keeps bothering me. Until such time in College days, I tried to run and elected as first year representative of First year students in our university. That time, I started to encourage myself to be confident and get away the fear of being a good leader. I learned to communicate, I learned to represent my group, I learned to share the ideas of my group and I learn to stand for my group. That time, the calling of being a leader reached me. I will always be chosen as a leader in the class. I always formed my group and list all the things that the teachers wanted us to stick with. I experienced to be more productive because of leading. During the senior years of college, I initiate to form a PEHM CLUB for the PEHM Majors and i suddenly elected as a President.Since we are a pioneers, we worked hand in hand to create more income generating projects with the help of our advisers. The first program that we generate income for P.E Department which I'm proud of is to use our talents and let the university sees it. Yearly, we call it MUGNA SA PEHM,and all the P.E Students are compelled to watch the show and pay entrance fee. We generated income on that just by using our talents in the show. We let them see Dance Evolution from 80's to year 2000,on our first show. The transition of dance movement were so fun that  after the show we had made the mass smiles and worthy enough for their fees. For me,to be a good leader is made. If we create something good for the group and has the passion to do it,it may be the right time to say that its your calling to be one of those chosen leaders.After the show, it feels so great that after the tiring days of rehearsals, it was excellently done.Leadership is not just on there, it will always be in process. More experiences, more years of engaging oneself to people, more different people, more goals to achieve and more achievements to look into,I think that's the essence of being a good leader and a good person. Leading is like just being a good and loving person coz if you love people ,then they will let you lead them. To lead is to make the people united in one common goals no matter how difficulties may come on their way.
